The Solitude of Radiance

Beautiful Blonde Woman Adorned with Jewellery

In a room ablaze with light and laughter,
Where jewels and eyes alike do gleam,
I spy her there, the one I'm after,
A vision plucked from some sweet dream.

Adorned in gems that catch the fire,
A blonde enchantress, fair and bright,
Yet 'round her swarms a buzzing choir,
That knows not of her inner night.

They see the sparkle, hear the jest,
And think her heart's as light as air,
But I perceive her silent quest,
For something more, a love that's rare.

Though circled by a crowd that fawns,
Her eyes betray a lonesome hue,
Like early light on distant lawns,
A solitude that's pure and true.

Oh, how I long to break the chain,
That keeps her bound in gilded cage,
To be the love that ends her reign,
As queen of this preformative stage.
